Date Ideas (Valentine’s Day or Not)

We don’t need a reason to go out and have fun, but going out on Valentine’s is always a good idea. We’ve gathered a few ideas and places you can go with your favorite people and have a great time.

Dance Lesson

Learning new skill with your partner or friends is a nice way to deepen the connection and create new memories. Learning how to dance is humbling but once you build confidence, you’ll be the first person on a dance floor at every wedding.

Jazz Music

The darkness and moodiness, and listening to great music with your darling, makes jazz bars an ideal date night spot. Before you take someone to a jazz bar, make sure they like the jazz music. We’ve seen people falling asleep before.

Afternoon Tea

There’s no better way to feel treated than having afternoon tea with your favorite people. This cozy setting also makes it a perfect spot for nice conversation if loud places are not your thing. Plus, it’s a fantastic place for people watching.

Cooking Class

If you are someone who likes food and would like to learn something new, a cooking class is a great way to spend time with your loved ones. There are plenty of options to choose from: desserts, pizzas, cocktails with complete dinner menus, kimchi workshops, you name it. After cooking there is always time to wind down with your meal and a glass of wine, which makes it an all around excellent date.

Pottery Class

We know you are all thinking about the scene in the movie Ghost with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore, and this is a great example of how a pottery class can be a great date (if you try to recreate the scene, you’ll probably get looks from the rest of the group). Pottery classes usually offer wine, so the class would be a great prelude to a nightcap at your favorite bar.

Brunch and a Museum

If you prefer to go out during the day, brunch and a museum visit is a perfect combo. Who doesn’t like to get a little tipsy and spend the day surrounded by history and art.
