The Red Trend Frenzy
The red trend has been taking over our feeds and we are not complaining about it. We’ve seen the “Unexpected Red Theory” on TikTok where if you add a pop of red to a room, it automatically looks better. Our favorite fashion accounts are into red socks, sweaters, makeup and the highlight of the most recent Milan Fashion Week was the color red.
We started looking more into the red trend by creating a mood board first. We noticed there were so many different shades of red and the same shade can look different depending on the texture. But, one thread that ties all of the shades of red together is that it can look luxurious and fun at the same time. Even though the color is currently popular, the red accents have been in vogue for years and we doubt it will ever go out of style. We also realized our favorite movie director, Pedro Almodovar, shares the passion for red too (look up “Pedro Almodovar movie posters” and you’ll see what we mean).
